To You, Stepping into First Grade — Our “Symphony of Growth”

A Child’s Turning Point: From Early Childhood to Elementary School

■ Identity Upgrade

We once worked with the sole purpose of giving you a better life.
But now, another goal has emerged—becoming a role model for you.

When you see your father immersed in his work, we hope you’ll understand that both learning and working require focus.
When you see your mother carefully preparing your favorite meal, we hope you’ll realize that love is something we express with heartfelt effort.

■ A Leap in Abilities

Tying your shoelaces, organizing your backpack—tasks your parents once helped with—are now becoming your “new skills.”

Doing your homework by yourself. Feeling the frustration of a quarrel with a friend. These are all “required courses” in growing up. Step by step, through small challenges, you’re building solid confidence.

A Parent’s Turning Point: From Full Protection to Balanced Letting Go

■ Shifting Roles

We’ve moved on from helping you with every bite of your meal, and now cherish the time spent reading stories together before bed.
We are gradually reducing the decisions we make on your behalf, and instead, we ask more often, “What was fun at school today?”

Watching your little back as you walk to school, our hearts are filled with hope—and a touch of wistfulness.

■ Evolving Concerns

Rather than worrying about “one more bite of food,” we now wonder, “Will you be brave enough to raise your hand in class?” Instead of stressing over a missing toy, we hope you’ve made a new friend today.

We strive to be the “safety net” behind you—not an overprotective umbrella. We want you to learn how to stand up on your own when you fall. And whenever you look back, may our smiles always be there to support you.

Work and Parenting: A Journey to Find Balance

■ When Goals Align

We once worked hard just to give you a good life. Now, we also strive to be someone you can look up to.

Seeing your father dedicated to his work, we hope you’ll understand that focus is essential in both learning and working, watching your mother prepare your favorite meal with care, we hope you’llrealize that love is something expressed through devotion.

■ Keys to Balancing Life

During work hours, we make use of even the smallest chunks of time to plan and boost efficiency.
After work, we turn off notifications and devote ourselves fully to our time with you—helping with your homework, and simply being there.

There may never be a perfect balance, and that’s okay.
By embracing the ups and downs of daily life, we’re learning how to walk the path of balance between work and parenting—together.

In Closing

To our beloved child—first grade is not the finish line.
It’s the very first milestone on the long journey of life.
Until you get used to your new self and rhythm, we’ll be by your side.

Please allow us to nurture you gently—somewhere between protecting and letting go.
We promise to remain your most faithful audience and accompanist in your “Symphony of Growth,” until the day you can perform your own piece all by yourself.
