Department Introduction Article: Manufacturing Section 2, Machine Unit

We, the Machine Unit of Manufacturing Section 2, Manufacturing Department, currently consist of seven members. We are responsible for processing a wide variety of parts used in our company’s products from raw materials by using machine tools such as general-purpose lathes, Drill Mates, and NC lathes, and supplying them to the next stage of production.

A particularly important aspect of our work is to machine the materials exactly to the dimensions specified in the production drawings, maintaining high precision while producing the designated quantity.
To achieve this, not only is the quality of the machining itself important, but the preparation before starting the work—known as “dandori” (setup)—is also crucial. While we are required to handle materials and parts with diverse characteristics and respond flexibly to production requirements, the true reward of this job lies in addressing each of these demands while supplying defect-free parts to the next process.

To that end, we will continue to work every day to maintain and improve our machining quality and work efficiency.

This time, we would like to introduce two young members who will be creating articles in the future.
