“How Many Standard Models Does Okudaya Giken Offer?” We Asked Our Employees.

Our comprehensive catalog features a lineup of products commonly known as standard models. How many models do you think there are?

Let’s start with a guess.

So, this time we asked Mr. Kumegawa from the Development Department to help us out.

─── This is a bit sudden, but how many standard models do you think are listed in the Okudaya Giken comprehensive catalog?

I think there are quite a lot… Maybe around 300?

─── The correct answer is… 606!

When we counted the products listed in the April 2026 comprehensive catalog by model, there were 606 models in total.
* Including the Pastel series and Calos series.
* Excluding options.

Are there really that many! That is double my guess (laughs).

─── By the way, what do you think we have the most of?

That would have to be… the Catch Pallet (CP), wouldn’t it? ……. Surely.

─── The one we have the most of is… the Catch Pallet Truck. That is correct!

There are 266 models listed, accounting for approximately 44% of the total 606 models.

The results for the next most common products are as follows;
Power Lifter (PL) – 151 models
Lift Table (LT) – 68 models
Santo Car (SC) – 63 models

─── There are 266 models for the CP alone.

Seeing it in numbers again, it is quite amazing.
…I guess it is the result of continuously meeting our customers’ requests.

─── That is an excellent observation.

─── What is your favorite model, Mr. Kumegawa?

That would be the Santo Car table type.
It was incredibly convenient when I used it during on-site work. Not only is it great for transport, but it also performed excellently as a workbench.

While the Caddie can also be used in the same way as a workbench, the Santo Car has space between the table and the load wheels. What makes it great is that you can slide it directly under things like a surface plate.
