In order to deeply implement the requirements related to work safety, and further improve the enterprise’s fire safety management level and employees’ emergency response capabilities, our company recently organized a fire emergency drill in the production workshop, with employees from all departments participating systematically according to the unified deployment.

Based on the actual production scenarios in the workshop, this drill took “emergency response to a sudden fire” as the simulated background, focusing on two main contents: emergency evacuation and practical operation of fire extinguishers. Before the drill, the company’s safety management department formulated a drill plan in advance tailored to the characteristics of the workshop operations, clarifying the drill process, personnel responsibilities, and safety precautions. They also organized fire safety knowledge training, systematically explaining fire hazard prevention, key points for evacuation, and standard operating procedures for fire extinguishers, providing a guarantee for the smooth implementation of the drill.

After the drill began, a sudden fire in the production area of the workshop was simulated on site, and the alarm sounded immediately. Staff discovered and reported the danger at the first moment, the emergency plan was immediately activated, and all emergency teams quickly assembled at their designated positions.

Under the guidance of the on-site commanders, the participating employees followed the predetermined evacuation routes, covered their mouths and noses with wet wipes or clothing, and moved in a low posture to quickly and orderly evacuate to a safe area. The entire evacuation process was well-organized and coordinated, and all personnel safely reached the designated assembly point within the specified time, successfully completing the emergency evacuation drill.

Subsequently, the drill entered the practical operation phase of fire extinguishers. Safety management personnel explained and demonstrated the correct use of dry powder fire extinguishers on site, highlighting the key operating principles of “lift, pull, aim, and squeeze” and related safety precautions. Participating employees took turns to practice the actual operation, practicing extinguishing simulated fire sources according to the standard procedures. Through the method of “on-site demonstration + hands-on practice,” they further mastered the skills for handling early-stage fires.

After the drill ended, the person in charge of safety summarized and commented on the activity, affirming the overall effect of the drill and proposing suggestions for improvement regarding some individual details. He emphasized that the workshop is a key area for enterprise work safety, and it is necessary to normalize safety hazard inspections and emergency drills, continuously improve employees’ fire safety awareness and practical combat capabilities, and earnestly implement risk prevention and control measures.

This fire emergency drill closely followed the actual production situation, with practical content and strong pertinence. It not only tested the operability of the company’s fire emergency plan but also effectively enhanced employees’ safety awareness and emergency collaboration capabilities. In the next step, the company will continue to improve the safety management mechanism, normalize safety education and emergency drills, and provide a strong guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the enterprise with solid and effective measures.
